The last few weeks have been non-stop. We have been given the opportunity to take on a reasonable sized allotment on a farm near Chester. The site owner is hoping to build a community spirit and is therefore making one of his fields a 'community field'. Here plot owners will be able to to keep sheep, pigs if they would like too. He has also kindly agreed to allow us to locate a hive in the field right near to a pond, this location could not be better for the bees!
Below are some pictures of our plot. This will allow us to move forward with our other plans of providing Mini-Allotments for sale to raise revenue to help us purchase and set up bee hives, these Mini-Allotments will be delivered direct to the door and will give the buyers fresh veg throughout the season without the hard work!
